State 48 Bowfishing is an established Outfitter and Guide Company in Arizona. Our Guide, Vern Wallace, has been teaching enthusiasts how to bowfish Carp, Shad and Tilapia in AZ lakes and rivers for over 40 years!
Born from a passion for the outdoors, our Guide started walking the banks of the Verde River and other Arizona waterways bowfishing. Over the years the walking gave way to the comfort and versatility of boats. State 48 Bowfishing's custom outfitted bowfishing boats are used for day or night, however State 48 Bowfishing operates primarily at night.
Even after 40+ years, Vern still enjoys sharing the thrill of hunting fish under the desert stars with beginners and seasoned shooters of all walks of life.
